Other than that, Board Investigations will be sections dialogue that tell you the story and unveil what happened to your lady and so on. This should help cut your play time in half. I made this mistake and just did the main quest objective and peaced out, so I had to come back and mop up later by doing supply drop quests. If you don't have enough secrets and clues found, you won't be able to do a Board Investigation, so my suggestion is to find as many of these clues/secrets as you play the main missions, or you will have to come back later to do supply drop quests to find these. In order to unlock the Board Investigations, you have to find a certain amount of clues and secrets in the main quest line (up stairs where you pick up the binoculars to select missions) which are represented by question marks in game on your HUD compass. When the required number of facts have been achieved go back to the investigation board and begin simulation.īoard Investigations are easy, and you basically walk through the level and listen to dialogue, so here is a guide of how to unlock them:īoard Investigations are found in your bedroom at the base on the big chalk board directly across from your bed, and they super straight forward. This was the order in which I completed the quests, and you only need to find 3 of the 5 clues to complete the investigation. You must choose to download the data and not destroy the data to retrieve the next clue. The second clue can be found after your interaction with the two scientists. When you first enter the tent there is a terminal to your right, read the first clue off this terminal. These scientists are found in a tent outside the main building. You will be tasked with confronting two scientists (not the singular scientist on the second floor of the main building). The truth about NAR's experiments (Pripyat Central) - There are two clues found during this quest. In your cell, on the desk beside you, is the clue.
Chain Reaction (Pripyat Port/Prison) - You'll find yourself in prison (unavoidable). A few things from an old hideout (Moscow Eye) - At the end of the quest you will have a choice to destroy or download the data from the computer. For an early game fight it was a bit too difficult. I chose to run and complete the quest and did not collect this clue. If you choose to fight him now and can bring him to his knees he'll drop an ID badge, this is the first clue. Hermit quest (Pripyat Port) - You'll be confronted by the Black Stalker. In order to start the investigation you must first discover 3 facts from the 5 clues found within the following quests: As you may already know, to trigger the investigation you must interact with the investigation board in your room.Black Stalker is the third investigation.
